Office Furniture Suppliers in Dubai: How to Choose (Mahmayi, Highmoon, TreeJar & Others Compared)

Office Furniture Suppliers in Dubai: How to Choose (Mahmayi, Highmoon, TreeJar & Others Compared)

Search "office furniture Dubai" and you get the same handful of names: Mahmayi, Highmoon, OfficeMaster, Pan Emirates, Danube Home — and us, TreeJar. Most buyers end up comparing two or three of them in open browser tabs, usually by price alone.

Price is the wrong first filter. Two desks can both cost AED 900 and differ completely in what happens after you pay: one ships from a local warehouse tomorrow with a 5-year warranty, the other is imported to order with a 4-week lead time. This guide lists the six questions that actually separate Dubai's office furniture suppliers — and answers them honestly for ourselves.

Full disclosure: TreeJar is one of the suppliers on this page. We keep the comparison to questions you can verify yourself with any supplier in one phone call, and we say plainly where competitors may be the better fit.

The six questions that separate suppliers

1. Is it physically in stock in the UAE — or imported to order?

The single biggest difference between suppliers. "Available" on a website can mean "in a warehouse in Jebel Ali" or "we'll order it from the factory after you pay." The first means days; the second means 3-6 weeks, and any colour change or cancellation gets complicated. Ask the question literally: "Is this exact item, in this colour, in your UAE warehouse right now?"

2. What is the real delivery time — in writing?

Dubai suppliers quote anything from "same day" to "4-6 weeks" for visually identical products, because the answer depends on question 1. Get the commitment in writing on the quotation, including whether the clock starts at payment or at order confirmation.

3. What exactly does the warranty cover, and who honours it?

"Warranty" can mean a manufacturer's warranty serviced outside the UAE, or a local supplier who sends a technician with a replacement gas lift. Chairs are the test case: cylinders, mechanisms and castors are the parts that fail. Ask: "If the gas lift fails in year two, who fixes it, where, and in how many days?"

4. Can you sit on it before buying?

For a one-off desk, photos are fine. For 20 task chairs your staff will use 8 hours a day, 15 minutes in a showroom saves months of complaints. Several Dubai suppliers are online-only; others (including us) run physical showrooms. Neither model is wrong — but know which one you're buying from.

5. Is there real bulk/project pricing — or a flat retail price at any quantity?

If you're buying 30 workstations, ask three things up front: is there a project price at this quantity, is there one named person responsible for the order, and can delivery be sequenced with your fit-out contractor rather than arriving all at once at a building with one service lift. Suppliers set up for B2B answer all three quickly; if the answers are vague, that's your signal.

6. What happens after delivery?

Spare parts availability, a phone number that answers in year two, repairs and re-upholstery. The cheapest quote is only cheap if service exists after delivery — confirm what happens post-handover before you pay, not after.

The suppliers Dubai buyers compare most

Every company below is an established, legitimate business — the differences are in model and focus. Verify current details with each supplier; models change.

Mahmayi Office Furniture — one of Dubai's best-known office furniture names, with a very large online catalogue covering most furniture categories and price points. A frequent first stop for buyers who want maximum choice in one place.

Highmoon Office Furniture — a Dubai-based manufacturer known for made-to-order and custom office furniture with its own production facility. A natural shortlist entry when you need non-standard sizes or finishes and can plan around manufacturing lead times.

OfficeMaster — an established Dubai office furniture supplier that frequently appears on the same shortlists, particularly for seating.

Pan Emirates and Danube Home — large general furniture retailers whose ranges include home-office pieces. Convenient if you're furnishing a desk at home; for a multi-desk office project, run them through the same six questions as the specialists.

TreeJar Trading — that's us, so here are our six answers in verifiable form:

  1. Stock: 60+ chair models and hundreds of products physically in our UAE warehouse; every product page shows live availability. Made-to-order items (custom desks, sofas, reception counters) are labelled explicitly with a 2-3 week lead time.
  2. Delivery: 2-3 working days to Dubai and Sharjah, 2-5 working days to other emirates, stated on the quotation. Full-truck delivery with an assembly crew for project orders.
  3. Warranty: 2 years on chairs, 5 years on desks and storage, honoured locally — a technician and parts in the UAE, not a shipping label.
  4. Showroom: yes, in Dubai — you can sit on the chair you're shortlisting.
  5. Bulk: a dedicated B2B desk and dealer portal; project quotations for 10+ units with volume pricing, typically answered the same working day.
  6. After-sales: warranty repairs and part replacements are handled in the UAE by our own team — in year two you call the same number you ordered from.

Where we are not the best fit: we sell new furniture only — if you're specifically hunting for second-hand office furniture, that's a different market. And if you need a chair in your hands this same afternoon, a store with stock on a shelf beats any warehouse model: our fastest standard delivery is 2-3 working days. For everything else — in stock or made to order, for the office or beyond — ask us.

A 10-minute comparison that saves weeks

Shortlist two or three suppliers and ask each the same four things by WhatsApp or phone:

  1. Is this exact item in your UAE warehouse now?
  2. Delivery date in writing — and does assembly cost extra?
  3. Who fixes a failed gas lift in year two, and where?
  4. What's the project price for my quantity?

Specific, written, fast answers to these four questions are the best early signal of how the rest of the order will go.

FAQ

Who is the best office furniture supplier in Dubai? There is no single "best" — there is a best fit for your order. Maximum catalogue breadth, custom manufacturing, ergonomic specialisation and in-stock fast delivery are different strengths held by different suppliers. Decide which of the six criteria above matter most for your purchase, then compare two or three suppliers on those.

What is a realistic office furniture delivery time in Dubai? For items genuinely in UAE stock: 1-5 working days depending on emirate. For made-to-order or imported items: 2-6 weeks. If a quote doesn't state which case applies to your items, ask before paying.

Is it cheaper to buy office furniture online or from a showroom in Dubai? Usually the same supplier charges the same price both ways — the showroom's value is testing comfort and finish before committing, which matters most for chairs you'll use daily and large orders.

What warranty should office furniture come with in the UAE? As a benchmark: 1-2 years on chairs (mechanisms and gas lifts are the failure points) and 3-5 years on desks and storage. More important than the number is local service — confirm repairs happen in the UAE.
